The Directors and Trustees of Sevenoaks Town FC oversee the club’s compliance with child protection and welfare regulations essential to running a youth football club. Our Club Welfare Officers are dedicated to safeguarding the interests of all club members.

REQUIREMENTS FOR TEAM MANAGERS AND COACHES
Before taking charge of a team, all managers and coaches must complete the following requirements:

Valid Enhanced FA DBS Check
Hold or be working towards a minimum FA Introduction to Football Coaching Qualification
Complete FA Safeguarding Children Training
Acquire FA Introduction to First Aid in Football
Player Welfare (Seniors Teams Only)

Safeguarding Adults (Seniors Teams Only)

As an England Football Accredited 3 star Club, we uphold the highest standards of conduct for our players, parents, and supporters. We are proud advocates of the FA Respect campaign.
FA WHISTLEBLOWING POLICY
If any adult or young person has concerns about an adult in a position of trust within football, they can report these concerns by contacting the FA Safeguarding Team at 0800 169 1863 or by writing to the FA Case Manager at The Football Association, Wembley Stadium, PO Box 1966, London SW1P 9EQ. You can also email safeguarding@thefa.com or reach out directly to the Police, Children’s Social Care, or the NSPCC.
